2018 Candidates

I am Michael Rendon and I am running for Judge in the Court of Common Pleas, General Division in 2018. Today more than ever, justice matters. If we are going to ensure the fair and equitable administration of justice, we must elect judges who not only have the legal knowledge, but also the life experience to ensure that justice prevails. I have the knowledge, experience and dedication to administer justice fairly. I have spent my career working in the justice system as a Federal Special Agent, a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, an Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, and now as a lawyer representing individuals in private practice. I have seen our justice system from every angle, and that will make me a better judge. I am a life-long dedicated
Democrat, a U.S. Army Veteran, a former union president, and an active community volunteer. As a Hispanic American, fluent in Spanish, I also will bring much needed diversity to the Court of Common Pleas, which currently does not have a single Hispanic judge. Experience matters,
community matters, and justice matters. My life has exemplified all three of these ideals.
